A series of 5 workshops back-to-back dedicated to the relationship between Sound and Moving Images. Starting with an introduction to key elements of Sound Design by lecturer Greg Docwra. Then, local multi-facet artist Mats Unden will be joined by Ben Walsh for an Improvisational Live Music Soundtrack showcase!
Like that wasn't enough delight, local legend Matt "Marine Boy" Cunliffe will deliver a comprehensive masterclass on Soundtrack, with accessible tips and tools to independant filmmakers and musicians. Finally, Melbourne-based Sound artist and VJ Sean Healy will tease your creative buds with an exploration of live video possibilities.
Last but not least, learn how to of blow your audiences' minds with an introductory course on large-format projection and Projection mapping with Sydney-based Projection artist Nick Azidis.
This special workshop-day designed for the needs of our local base of emerging filmmakers couldn't end better than with a Networking session at Deckchair Cinema. A short walk from the workshops, catch the sunset over a few drinks and reflect on the day's events with like-minded film nerds. And of course, the screenings of the night will be 100% NT made: check program for more details.
Single workshops are $10 for concession & DFS Members, $15 otherwise. Multipasses available (see Tickets Info)
