**UPDATED TIMES: Please note, the correct times are in this Facebook event and are different from the program and from previous years.**
TICKETS: FREE EVENT (donations gratefully accepted!). Group registrations highly encouraged (email email@example.com).
Marshalling Area: St Andrews Park, Church Street, North Hobart
On the first sunny Saturday of the Festival, the streets of Hobart will be dazzled by the Taspride parade (not to mention the rainbows,
sequins, flags, costumes and whistles…) emanating from the
LGBTIQ community, our many supporters and friends.
So bring your partner, your lover, your family, your next door neighbour - in fact bring everyone to this inclusive event and join in the fun. The Parade links into the Festival’s ‘Freedom and Equality’ theme, so come dressed up and positively celebrate our ‘difference’.
Register your parade group in advance or simply turn up on the day.
The Pride Parade finishes with a community gathering at the Franklin Square fountain, with key community speakers.

NOTE: Due to police regulations no vehicles, including
bicycles, can be used in the Pride Parade, so wear your comfy shoes, bring water, a hat, and sunscreen. (Wheelchairs, prams and rollerskates/blades are all ok and encouraged!)
